Download 2010/2011 Ultimate Clip Competition Entry Form Here
The Ultimate Clip Competition is designed to encourage the professional woolgrower. It intends to identify and reward those clips that exhibit excellence in all characteristics of wool and the preparation of the entire clip for sale.
This Competition promotes the 'green' production of superfine wool with emphasis on wool produced under natural pastoral / grazing conditions. It intends to focus on the entire clip. New England Wool supports wool production where stock are bred and managed to achieve their natural potential, and wool is prepared with the quality fabric maker in mind.
Those interested in entering the 'Ultimate Clip Competition', should obtain an entry form from their respective broker, download from New England Wool Website, or contact New England Wool direct. Only clips that conform to the criteria set out below in 'Competition Rules', need apply. The Competition will apply to wool clips sold between 1st May and 30th April in any one wool selling season*.
The judges will view all clips entered, and throughout the season*, a number of clips will be selected. These clips will become the finalists for the competition. A final judging of these clips will occur towards the end of the season to find the eventual winners. All entrants in the competition will receive written feedback from New England Wool, highlighting where the owner/classer has excelled and where, in the opinion of the judges, improvements could be made.
